Did you try on the sides of your bellybutton instead on above and below?  That's where I inject (about 2 inches on the side) and it doesn't hurt.

Yes. I took it out 4 hours before, actually. It wasn't intentional. I had intended to wait no more than an hour. But ran errands that took longer than expected.

So I'm overweight. The sides doesn't really work. I didn't do it exactly above and below my belly button. It was to my left side above and below the belly button line.

LOL! No I think the bum is not an option for injection sites 
But I had heard the legs hurt more than the belly. That is why I began there. I used to do my Humira injections in my thighs. They were painless most of the time. Towards the end of my treatment they began to sting during the injection. I'm not sure the arm would feel much better.

It's wonderful that you are seeing improvement right away.  The reversed leopard spots sound cool.  Really.  Like Super Hero cool.     

On the auto-injector vs. pre-filled syringe, with the syringe, you control the speed at which the medicine goes in.  Sometimes injecting slowly is less painful.  But this new med isn't hurting as much as the Humira did.  That's great!  And it works!  Even greater!    There are some tips about unrefined, virgin coconut oil in this forum.  It's good stuff!

OK, so my skin has had vast improvement since Friday. It's almost a miracle. 

But the nausea is so intense. Does anyone have any tips for it? Does it stop happening eventually?

I have never experienced nausea on any of the biologics but have you tried Gravol?  I believe there's some that are non-drowsy 

Ginger tea
Fresh or candied ginger
Peppermint tea

If it persists, you should definitely talk to your GP

I've never had nausea from the Bio's either.

It is listed as one of the common side effects of Taltz, so I would say it will get better once your body gets used to it.

As for what to do, I find Vichy Mints good for nausea (though it could be placebo) in hospital when I had a lumbar puncture they gave me black coffee to sip and said it will help stop any nausea.

Hi Snarky Texan!

I am a relative newcomer to this site, but have found it to be my home away from home. I really enjoy the support and the folks, in general, here. I am also getting new treatments. After doing Dovobet ointment for 4 years straight, I finally stood up and made the doctor notice, refusing to do any more steroids. So, on the advice of a couple of folks here, who have given me a tremendous amount of support, told me about Enstilar Foam. I am using it now, but the Enstilar is losing its efficacy. I will use it to the bitter end, that being the appointment I have with a dermatologist, on December 15th at 10 A.M.  Sadly, it'll be with the only derm in town. The one that put me on steroids for 4 years     , and dropped me as a patient because I followed his advice. Anyways, it's a long story. Needless to say, I am apprehensive about talking with him, but seeing as he is the only game in town, I have to suck it up. His intern has informed me that the next thing on my horizon is Methyltrexate. So now I wait, impatiently, in hopes that something happens in my life that will give me true relief.

Having said all that, I am here for you! If ya wanna drop me a PM, if you want to vent or just share a thought, feel free to do so, girl.

BTW, I am so glad you are on your journey towards good health. I am thrilled to hear that the meds are working for you. Keep up the good work!!
