I have used MTX and it did work for me ,not completely and it did have side effects but at the time, before biological drugs,it was a good compromise. By the way Enstilar is a good one for the ears.
Enstilar.  I will keep it in mind, however I don't think it is available in Canada.

It's very good, comes pressurised in a can and is like ice when it comes out. I use it on my ears as it's the only place that the Stelara hasn't worked fully. Psoriasis is a dam nuisance ,had it from around 30 and now I am 73 and thank goodness for the Stelara I am clear. I just hope that it continues because it's about seven years since I started on it and Fred only lasted about five years ish before it stopped working.

Enstilar is available in Canada.   Never tried it as my last dermatologist went straight to MTX which worked great for psoriasis, not so much for the arthritis.

I really hope your dermatologist listens to you.  Topicals are not bad when you only have a few spots but when the coverage gets extensive, it's pointless in my opinion.

Is there another dermatologist in a closer city than Winnipeg?  A 2.5 hour drive is a lot.....especially if you need to see her often.

I am more than willing to drive the 2.5 hours. It's a pleasant drive and it allows me to go to COSTCO!!!! Woohoooo! lol
I know it's a ways away, but if I can't get a derm that will a) listen to me, b) not dismiss my concerns out of hand and last but not least c) a derm that will actually return my calls.
Not much to ask for, if you ask me. I am an easy going guy, so I don't think it's alot to ask, if you ask me. Feel free to disagree as my feelings don't get hurt that easily.

Cheers,
Wintrman

I find that a lot of the people employed in the health sector don't have a very good attitude and have a very high opinion of themselves usually not justified.
I think that I have been in Costco in Winnipeg.
