It was interesting to learn that guava leaves kept psoriasis away for 10 years that's brilliant . What do you do with the leaves ? do you just rub them on?

Shame when making tea with them it made matters worse ...I do hope you can get clear again soon
Jim
Thanks for the welcome!
The guava leaves are actually boiled and then placed on the affected areas and kept there for some time, and did that every morning for 3 days.
It was actually meant to cure the infection that arose (termed cellulitis) because guava leaves are known to be disinfectant, and I was surprised that it also cured my psoriasis after suffering 10 years!
And because I got impressed, that I drank guava tea but experienced allergies to it, that it turned into psoriasis, and now has a wider scope than before  Sad

But that is very strange. It almost suggests that there was something else that played a role.

Very sad, that it will not work anymore, it seemed so great.

I think what happens is if the allergy which turned into psoriasis, was originally caused also by that plathat it wouldn't relieve you anymore.

However, I made a big error of researching and drinking guava leaf tea, because it turned out that I have an allergy from it, and it wouldn't go away and I learned then that it has actually turned into psoriasis, and it now takes up a wider area than before Sad

That is a strange reaction Piansa. How did it at first relieved your psoriasis?
Very sad that drinking the tea reacted so opposite.
Did you talk with your dermatologist about that?

On the other side, welcome to Psoriasisclub  Welcome
Actually, the first intent was to cure the cellulitis which arose due to my wrong skin ritual then.  The guava leaves are known by my sister as anti-bacterial.  And after more than a week I was wondering why it was not yet inflamed, as I would normally have to apply steroids by then.  And I realized it was finally cured after more than 10 years!
So I was so impressed that I researched on it, and learned about making guava tea and all it's amazing benefits.  It even says allergies are rare!
And so I thought!  Haha.
Originally only my lower legs suffer, but now even my thighs, hips and back!

Hi piansa435
Just a suggestion if boiling of guava leaves no longer work try grounding or crushing the fresh leaves
then apply it directly to the affected areas. leave it there till the ground leaves dried. also try eating the guava fruits.
taste good when ripe just right.. 1 to 3 pcs./day
I heard packed with vitamin C

Just wanted to share what I did to cure my psoriasis.
The doctor said no cure, so I decided to find ways to cure myself.

1. I have observed that its like superficial wounds
2. Scented soap makes it worst like its refreshed and angry. (irritated)

Base On this observation.
I concluded to treat it as a wound.

Cure process:
1. Acquire Guava leaves (I know most of you have no access to this leaves.) It grows in Tropic countries.
Guava leaves is used to treat wounds here in our country.
2. Acquire Cheep papaya soap not scented sold in the streets in my country. (may not be available in your country.)

1* Boil the Guava leaves till the water is like a tea may be boiled multiple times (not for drinking)
when taking a bath use the water from guava leaves (best warm) to rinse papaya soap.
(should be used as final rinsing)

Do This till you see results.. may take weeks, months, never years.

I know how hard it is to deal with this stuff everyday as a teenager.
I was even bullied. saying I would kill my self if I was in your situation.

Try it worked for me. Might work for you too.
