Ok been a while since I posted anything but have been reading ?. I recently saw some positive reviews from peeps who used a salicylic shampoo & left it on for up to 4 min ,rinsed then applied a 5% coal tar shampoo-let sit for 1-3 min, rinse then shampoo with a nice smelling one. Of course I was in the shower so long hubby thought I went down the drain ????

Anyone have experience with this ? I’m going crazy with the itch

Thanks for any advice

Hi nice to see you again. The itch can be a bugger and I'm lucky as my treatment has made sure I no longer itch
However what has been suggested is worth a try.
I myself use polytar shampoo which I use occasionally if I have a little flare and it works for me

Have you tried antihistamine tablets to try to kill the itch ?

Polytar Shampoo might help ?

Aveeno do a wide range of things. They are oatmeal based and one of their lotions is an anti-itch one and it’s brilliant I find.

See if you can get raw coconut oil, it’s a great moisturiser and has natural healing properties too.

I hope that you find something that works for you Thumb
