Ya know,... I have to share w you that many years ago, I worked a state facility for the challenged. Well alot of us would have a favorite client that people would call our "son" or "daughter". My "son" was Richard, and he was full of psoriasis and always scratching. Medical personel assured everyone that he had psoriasis and was not contagious. I understood such, and treated him well. But I have to laugh now, cause I have quite a case of it...Cooincidence...but...He was truly,...my "son"

Yep I have been almost clear for a couple of years with Stelara and apart from a few minor problems like a headache a flu feeling for a couple of days. I haven't noticed any side affects, and have been given lots of regular check ups to make sure things are OK.

Yes it is coincidence, you can not catch psoriasis! it can be passed on via genetics but not by any other means. See this thread: Is Psoriasis Contagious?

Hello Martin,
Yes, I have a good life with my medication, no visible psoriasis, little burden from my Arthritic Psoriasis. Minor side effects, some flushes, sometimes a little rough in the intestines.
I use a specific form of dimethyfumarate only available in the Netherlands and possibly germany.
As of yet, nobody on this forum followed me. In the Netherlands there is an active patients association of at least 300 patients, aiming at a scientific research of this form of medication.
But in the mean time there are very good results.
Caroline
