Hi All ,
Sorry for delay.... On 13th April i had a new shot of Stelara. April was a difficult month for me , moved to another city , the death of my 17 years dog. Very stressing month. Im 99% clean from Pso , only some spots on the legs. Sure came for the big stress i had in this period. 22th Of May i will get first dose of Vaccine Pfizer. My Derm told me that it would be better to do vaccine a little bit far from Stelara injection , i guess 15 days + - . For second shot i will arrange with vaccination centre. Next stelara 8th July. Fingers crossed. Marco

Hello Marco good to see you again, and great to hear Stelara is still doing well for you. Long may it continue.
So sorry to hear about the loss of your dog, and I understand what you are going through. Try to think of all the good times you had together and hold those great 17 years deep in your heart, it's a good age for a dog.

Glad to hear it’s still working, I liked Stelara when I was on it.
Sorry to hear about your dog, what a wrench, 17 years together is a long time. It’s interesting what they said to you about the vaccine, I got AZ and it was on the same day as my Benepali jab. However, I do benepali once a week whereas Stelara is more spaced out. I asked if I should delay the benepali that eve and they said no it would be fine..

Hello everybody !
On 8th July i had a new shot of Stelara. Something different this time. In the last two weeks before injection small dots began to appears on the legs , few on the arms. The small dots for luck stopped to grew up and now one week after the injection i Think that Stelara start to work again in my body. My Derm. told me that the most relevant thing for me is STRESS. Second is try to lose a bit of weight. I hope that Stelara will work for me again. If not , there will be another cure for me , i hope... Fingers crossed

Hello Marco, good to see you at Psoriasis Club again.
Yes it is important to try and get the stress levels down if you can. If you are close to 100kg you could talk to your dermatologist about changing the time between shots or increasing the dose. When I was on it we played with 10 and 8 weeks between shots and/or a double dose. |
