It is great to be clear and now you have the summer to look forward to  Thumb

That is what was prescribed from the beginning. Was on Methotrexate 1 month before loading up on Cosentyx.
According to many search results combo therapy is common.

Happy Easter sir.

Only problem with that is you don't know which treatment is doing the clearance is it the methotrexate or the cosentyx

Good to hear it's working, but I'm with Jim I don't recall others staying on methotrexate whilst using cosnetyx.

I just use cosentyx, and to be honest if they suggested methotrexate I would refuse. You have to ask yourself one question "Which is working, Cosentyx or Methotrexate" ? I would ask about stopping the methotrexate as you probably don't need it, but it's your choice.

*I have sent you a PM by the way as I merged your two threads together, when you have an update it would be better to add it here rather than start a new thread. But don't worry if you are not sure, I will sort it out.

Good luck with the continued clearance and I look forward to your updates.

Its been 1 year on combo therapy with methotrexate/Cosentyx still 100% clear. Stopped Methotrexate after  9 months.
still using Cosentyx 300mg per month.  Skin tingles about a week before injection day. Doc says its common as the cells have memory.
Of course they do the lil bastards. Still no scratching and nice to have my life back. Arms, legs buttocks and hands. My nice back was starting to get some patches. More energy now that I am off of methotrexate but well worth it. No side effects other than the fatigue. Never missed a day of work.
No alcohol. Lots of rest, eat well.
Science is wonderful. God bless my dermatologist

Good to hear Larry that you've managed to come off methotrexate and still stay clear, and you have shook of the tiredness that methotrexate seems to cause. I'm sure the Cosentyx alone will keep you clear and hopefully will stay clear for the foreseeable future

Thanks for updating

Good to hear it's still doing it's stuff.

I find around week 3 I can feel it easing off a bit with the psoriasis. I did try every 3 weeks instead of 4 cut it didn't make any difference, so I went back to 4 weeks.

*I will merge this thread into your other one as it's an update.
