With the current heatwave I have noticed the little bit of psoriasis I have on my shins is itching a lot more. I notice it the most when I go outside and when I come back inside it seems to calm down. I've never really thought about it before, but this heatwave is definitely making it itch more.

Anyone else noticed a difference to psoriasis in hot weather ?

Yes I have got a bit of inverse which I don’t normally get in normal temperatures, I use a lot of talc to try and keep everything dry but I still get some itching and redness.

I was wondering if it's to do with the heat rash I've been getting lately, but it's definitely making the psoriasis itch more.

I don't usually have long nails, but I have cut them as close as possible to try and stop me scratching.

As you know my psoriasis is clear but when I did suffer badly with it I never had bad itching
I also always get out in the sun as much as possible and have never had the itching problem in fact the sunlight cleared me very quickly

I've always had bad itching with psoriasis and found it a catch 22, I know the sun helps but it also makes the itching worse.

Never fails to amaze me how different we all are with psoriasis and it's not only treatments, but it's also types and the way it effects each person that makes it so difficult to control.
