Yippee! Finally, after 15 months on Cosentyx, my Derm has suggested that I reduce monthly dosage to 150 mg. my psoriasis is 95% gone! I've had it on both palms and sometimes on soles for about 2 years.
Has anyone else been advised to reduce dosage and is outcome positive?

I actually tried more and went to three months between shots but it didn't help with the prosisis. But I do have very bad psoriatic arthritis and that is why I use it so I doubt I will ever be able to reduce the dose.

Great to here you are 95% clear long may it continue.  Thumb

* I will move this thread to Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis as it will make it easier for others to find.

Wow congratulations Kate what a great result I hope reducing it will keep you clear ...
I'm not on cosentyx but it seems a good idea if it works on a reduced dose  Thumb

That's great news!!!!

I'm a firm believer that less is best! Then if for some reason you start noticing the psoriasis is trying to creep back up you can increase your dosage again and hopefully that would take care of it. But hopefully you will just continue to do well on the lower dosage!!!

Thank you everyone for the encouraging replies.
One month on and I have again used half of the dosage with no worsening of my hands. I know that I must be vigilant and always treat my skin with the greatest of care.
