We do have a few members using it. If you put Tatlz in the Search and tick the box "search titles only" you may find some threads of interest.

Good luck, I will be monitoring your updates to this thread as I may be moving on to it at the end of the year.

*I have made an edit to your thread description as we have a lot of Taltz threads.

Hi I’m currently on Taltz, did you get the video instructions too? A simple paper leaflet would do..

Hi Will20, I started Taltz in May 2017 so just celebrated one year of clear skin!  I saw results very quickly and was completely clear after the fourth injection.  I auto-inject once a month (my next dose is also sitting in the refrigerator for Monday's injection).  I found that the best place to inject is just a few inches either to the left or right of your belly button.  The first two injections I did in my upper thigh and it hurt like hell. The belly is very tolerable and only stings for a second - it's more than worth a tiny bit of pain.  And make sure you take it out of the fridge 30 minutes before you inject so it's not as cold.

Good luck, it has certainly changed my life for the better!

Sheryl

I haven't started it yet but will be starting it soon. Currently waiting to hear from the pharmacy (the doctor has already put in the order for it)

I had heard that the injection is more painful than some of the other bios. The nurse said to perhaps let it set at room temperature for 40-45 minutes instead of 30. Also I read that you can use an ice pack and ice the area first (only I can't remember where I read that.... I'll have to look back through the papers the doctor gave me)

I can't say I'm looking forward to it with hearing that it can be painful. I didn't have an issue at all with Stelara or Cosentyx being painful. I'm a bit of a wuss and although needles don't bother me.... self inflicting pain has never been my strong point. Tongue

I'll be following your progress with interest. Hope it works well for you! Smile
