So far with my reintroductions, they all passed the pulse test but:
Citrus – a teaspoon of an orange made my lips sting, and I refluxed it like the yellow stuff on an empty stomach in the gym (although I have reflux problems) Legumes – Ears were burning but I may have just been in a hot room – P also expanded and became flakier but I had my first day in sun in a long time this day White rice – my chest contracted after I ate it Other fruits – no problem Vodka– no problem Is it normal for my body to act strange when I eat something I have not tried for over a month? Or should I take it as a sign to stop eating it? I stopped eating citrus, legumes and rice all after less than one portion.

Hi crustymug, my experience was that foods could cause a reaction from overnight to a few days, so a week between reintroducing sounds sensible. Good luck!

But in these cases the reaction has happened immediately - would you still continue to take the food for a week?

No, I'd stop as soon as I felt a reaction. Just saying that some foods created a reaction more quickly than others. If you've not had a reaction after reintroducing something after a week, probably that food is going to be ok.

I reintroduced in 2 day intervals in the order; tomatoes - potatoes - peppers - chillis.
The day I reintroduced chillis I got a few new lesions . Is it possible that only one nightshade will flare my P but another won't? If so why is this?

I had no reaction to wheat but a flare up from barley.
I had no reaction to tomatoes and potatoes but I did with peppers and chilli. Is there any reason why my body would react different to these, despite being in the same food groups? |
