Thank you Caroline and Fred
I did get the coconut oil and it is very soothing, the fact that I like the scent is an added bonus for sure   Smile
As for my diet.. I haven't had anything out of the ordinary ,,, and I haven't ever noticed a relationship between my P and food
I eat healthy foods for the most part.
And in all my years dealing with P. I don't experience "flare ups" and periods of remission. My patches are constant.
Will try the frozen peas.
I have started with the Vitamins now tho I take D3 , Omega 3, 50 Billion Probiotics and have added tumeric to the  daily mix.

So I just thought I would update this post and share my latest experience in case anyone else finds this happening to themselves
regarding the patches on my face...well after many painful days rubbing one cream on after another with no change in fact the area was getting worse. More rawness, burning etc I went back to my Derm. who took a closer look
turns out it is not P on my face! It's a condition called Perioral Dermatitis
Most likely brought about because of the use of all the topical steroids
I was given a different med. and I am thrilled to say that only after a few short days the rash is near gone.
I am still steam rolling on with cosentyx. Especially now that I may only be able to use topicals extremely sparingly

That's great news Yvonne I'm glad your face has cleared up for you .... without that worry hopefully the cosentyx will work its magic
Thanks for the update .... it's easy and seems logical to assume that when a rash appears in our faces that it's psoriasis .... it's a good job you had it checked out and it turned out not to be  Thumb

Hello Yvonne, you are welcome to start new threads instead of posting in your introduction. There is no obligation of course but some may miss your updates in this thread.

But good luck.

Hi Yvonne nice to meet you Wave

One cream I found very useful was sudocrem (the sort in a tub) to be found in the baby section of supermarkets, I think it's the high zinc content that makes it very soothing. Unfortunately it's quite messy but it might be helpful to use at night.
