Thank you everyone it appears it's a delayed reaction to meds... Now started on Arms as well as muscle, leg and back aches.. What a horrid drug let's hope it works without serious reaction

Hi Donna is that what you have been told by the dermatologist? That's it's a reaction to acetretin.....can't they change the drug if it's causing so many problems? ...

It's certainly a horrible reaction, what dose is your Dad on ?

We are in the far north of Scotland, the next appointment available with a specialist is October! Our local doctor has spoke with the specialist who thinks its a reaction so has given dad steroid cream... Dad feels fine in himself and thinks the muscle soreness maybe due to having not hardly walked for a year, my dad was always walking... He starts light therapy also in the next few weeks alongside the acetretin. Tried light treatment before but it agrivated it and caused pustular psoriasis.... Fingers crossed!  Light treatment is twice a week for ten weeks, for seconds, we travel over 100 miles each time so let's hope it works this time
