Hello!!!!

Hello,my name is terina. I have had psoriosis since I was 18. I just started stelara after my humira didt work. I thought I was the only person going through this wierd type of hell. But I stumble upon this and I find it so helpful and great. I will learn how to do everything properly. Enough rambling. I really just wanted to touch base on myself. And thank everyone in advance.

Hello Terina   to Psoriasis Club.

You will find a friendly bunch of people using all types of treatment so just dive on in, you will be made to feel welcome.

We also have some active members only boards where you can get to meet some of the other. If you venture to the [Group Specific] board you will find I'm the sensible one.

Yes Psoriasis is a weird sort of hell for sure, an awful disease that's difficult to control. Although there have been some great advances in the drugs to control the disease , I hope the  Stelara is working for you and you are getting clear on it, or are you looking to see what else there is?

I also first had P when I was 18, though it went away for a bit before coming back strongly.
I have also recently started Stelara because Humira didn't work.. so you are definitely not alone!

Hi Terina , welcome to the club . P is a sod of a problem to have but the latest treatments are a big improvement to what used to be around when I first started with it. I am on Stelara as well and it is the only treatment that has ever worked for me to the extent of 99% clearance so all the best for your treatment. Have a good look around and ask any questions you want as the inmates on here are all friendly if a bit barmy and you will get straight answers from people who have the problem not some health professional who is working from a book.
