Good Evening all

I had the doctors this morning, he has advised I emailed him some photographs of the psoriasis, he is going to get a dermatologist to have a look. I presume this is because of the 18 week waiting list to see one, I guess I can get a professional opinion on it that way.

Also took some bloods, I have been having night sweats since about October/November so not sure if the bloods are for that or for the skin, or both maybe.

Always leave a doctors feeling confused, does that happen to anyone else?

Anyway I have a catch up appointment on the 21st march.

Yes I always come away confused that's why I take my other half in with me...so the two of us can listen and take it all in

I don't think the bloods will show anything about psoriasis , so might be for the night sweats, and to rule out anything else the rash might be
Good luck on the 21st  Thumb

I'm usually more confused when I leave a doctor's office as well. I thought it was probably just me. Big Grin

To be fair a GP can only know so much, and skin problems are difficult to diagnose.

At least your GP is going to contact a dermatologist with the images, they should be able to tell a bit more from them and it will get you on the ladder.

Blood tests are not a great way to find psoriasis but they can show a lot of things, so it's good to have them.

I've made an edit to make the images work for you. Thumb

I won't bother telling you off as you have decided to go for it. I will say though if it has done that in 5 minutes you want to be careful. Confused

Also won't tell you off as you're allowed to do whatever you wish. Smile

Although as Fred mentioned, for it to have worked in 5 minutes is perhaps concerning. The picture (which is very hard to go by as you know) shows a bit of pinkness to the skin in the after shot so I'd be very careful. What can I say, I'm a cautious person.

Looks like it helped though!
