Yorkshire lad. Hello Jamie, I was on Stelara and my Psoriasis was clear 99% and after 18 months it just suddenly stopped working. Had a break for a month then began using Humira, it made my Psoriasis erupt/flare up worse than ever. I used it for 8 months - but it was after 2 months (4 injections). I went onto using Cosentyx and that did nothing. Then I asked the Dermatologist if I could go back onto Stelara and she agreed. To date have only had the loading dose of 2 injections in December, 2016 and it is already fading. My next injection is in April = Stelara is every 12 weeks.
We are all different and what works for one may not work for others.
Wishing You Great Success.

Hi Jaime,
I took Humira for Psoriasis and arthritis. I took 4 shots of Humira before I had real noticeable results. I eventually cleared to about 85% and my arthritis was real well controlled.
After 13 months my body found a work-around and the Humira stopped being effective.
I have since moved on to Taltz and have had my first 2 injections. The Taltz regimen is 2 injections to start and then 1 every two weeks. I see a small positive result but have had injection site redness and itching.
Good luck on Humira. Give it a chance to help.

Hi everyone

just thought id log on and post an update..... Im completely psoriasis free again after a few months of taking humira!

Not only am i psoriasis free the biggest surprise to me is its also completely got rid of my arthritis, haven't been without arthritis since i was about 14 (32 now). This is an amazing drug and anybody who gets the chance to try it most definitely should! Ive experienced no side effects, and the injections are completely pain free.

I read all sorts of horror stories about the injections and honestly they are a load of rubbish.... i even have to double check to see if they have misfired sometimes!

That's great news Jamie Thumb

Yes the injections can be a bit off putting at first, but once you accept it's only going under the skin and like you the "Horror stories are rubbish" they are simple to do and don't hurt.

Long may your progress continue.

Smile

Very valuable to read your success, Jamie.
It shows that we all are different and that there are always possibilities to try as they might work for you.

Good luck and I hope it will give you comfort for a long time.

That's great news! I bet you're pleased.
When I was on Humira I felt great, no arthritis at all, I didn't have it badly but I noticed the difference.
Sadly it didn't work on my skin so I was taken off it..
