I know that I have had a great deal of stress recently with my daughter , she is very poorly and the chemotherapy is just about keeping it at stage 2 and now tomorrow morning she is going by Jumbolance to Lourdes for 9 days . A large 6 wheeled coach which is a hospital on wheels but Mrs Dave and I are worried but I think that she should be okay.
All of this does not help the P or PsA.
Sorry to hear things have been so difficult. Wishing the best for all of you. Heart

Beverley are you only allowed paracetamol because of the Stelara?

No, I had a gastric bypass in may 2017.....since then not allowed aspirin, ibrufen, naproxen......

Dave I hope things go well with Clare. You've had a tough year.

I hope you get to make the move to Cosentyx soon and that the migraines go away.

Had another migraine and I have only just injected on Monday plus I have got several areas of P including what looks like sunburn but there has been a distinct lack of sun recently and I have also several other patches .
I am seeing the dermatologist next week and I think that it's time for a change , must have been on Stelara around six years now and it's been a life changer.

Maybe the change will be a good one, it's definitely worth a try. Hopefully you are migraine free soon and your psoriasis starts to clear up.

Had an appointment Thursday with the dermatologist and weighing everything up we jointly decided that for the time being I would be stopping on the Stelara providing everything stays as it is now.
All the blood/kidney/liver tests were OK so no problems with that side of it and apart from a few minor things it's working well though it would be nice if it worked better on the PsA however I can cope with that by taking the pain killers.

Well Jim we have decided that if everything continues as it is I will stay on the Stelara but should it change then it's on to Fred's favourite.
I am losing a bit of ground on the Stelara with a few minor areas like knees and elbows with the annoying ears area which have never been 100% but all are manageable with the Enstilar. The thing is, apart from a bit of fatigue for a few days when I injected I have little trouble with it however we will just have to see . The PsA is not to bad with the Stelara either and I can control it with pain killers , when they messed up the dose and I was 15 weeks instead of 10 weeks I was surprised how much difference the Stelara made when I started again.

So was that suppose to say you'll be staying on Stelara?

What did your doctor say about the migraines?

It's difficult I think to know when to switch if a drug is working (even if it's not working as well as we'd like) as there is no guarantee that the next one will be better.  It's a bit of hit and miss.

I am staying on the Stelara for the time being though I have had another migraine today. It's still working okay and I am concerned that if I change it may prove not as good as where I am at the moment.
