Hello all. I have just signed up today! I have had psoriasis for about 25 years.age 37 now. I have been on various treatments over the years the most recent being humira and enbrel injections. I have just been approved for stelera and am waiting on a delivery. I am really hopeful of this being the one!!! Wish me luck!!

Hello Slm79   to Psoriasis Club.

Iv'e been on Stelara 6 years and it gave me back my life, we also have others here using it and they too are doing well on it.

I'll move this post to a new thread so it gets noticed better.

Don't hesitate to start a thread in Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis to monitor your progress if you wish.

You have found a great site for information and support on all aspects of the disease. I don't think you will find a friendlier group anywhere, we are all psoriasis sufferers here and happy to share experiences of what works and what doesn't, and support each other through the bad times. I hope you will find the site interesting

Hi Jim and Fred.  Thanks for welcoming me. Hoping stelera works for me too. Just got to have a chest xray and tb test then I should be good to go! Keep you posted!

Hi Slm (and fellow Scot!) and welcome! I have recently started Stelara and I'll be receiving my 2nd injection tomorrow and have already noticed a huge difference. I really hope you have the same experience!

I'm new to stelara too (this year) & after enbrel, humira then no treatment for nearly two years, stelara is a god send. It's a brilliant form of treatment & with coconut oil as a moisturiser, i'm happy.

Hi AmandaL. My dad is Scottish so I am actually half Scot! Had my tests done last Monday so hoping to get the go ahead soon and a delivery from the medication company. Will keep you all posted on my progress.
