Has anyone tried the diet where you do not eat Nightshade family of food to elliminate psoriasis?
I have heard that this has worked for many. I would really appreciate if anyone has experience of this.

Hi Ish and  Welcome to the club here you will find someone who has tried about everything that is reported as good for psoriasis and some that haven't been reported
We like to share information here freely and just hope that the exchange of views might help someone

Leaving nightshades out of my diet isn't going to happen but there are people that swear it's the way forward, and it may well be, but it's not for me

I wish you luck and I'm sure you will get a few replies but most that have posted on diet related fixes tend not to update their posts
But there is some goid advice here
Here are a few links that may be useful

Watch out for the Scams!

A friend recommended this diet to me as it was working some bit for him. It hasn't had any noticeable benefits for me however.
Asking an Irish man to give up potatoes & chips is like asking a dog not to bark but I actually found cutting out tomatoes and chillies/peppers harder. What I was told (by a friend not a doctor btw) was I could have leaky gut, which in turn triggers the psoriasis. Been eating lots of seeds to see if this helps but again nothing worth noting so far.

Hope it works for you.

Diet never affected my psoriasis, the only thing that's worked for me is my current treatment and after five years on it I'm very happy

There is probably a lot of truth in the diet way ....but I'm like your Irishman and can't give up potatoes in any shape ...so it will never work for me  Big Grin

haha I know my will power is weak when it comes to food. Found it interesting to hear people mentioned diary as hadn't heard that before. Dairy and fruit is about all I have left in my diet at this stage.
