G' day Belinda
Welcome to the loony bin You found the best place for information on psoriasis and psoratic arthritis. Looking at the photo of your hairy leg, I would use raw virgin coconut oil on it. Look forward to seeing you make a journal like some of us have. GB

Thanks all for the comments! Yep, I've figured out how to do photos and the leg is indeed very sore! It seems we are mostly on different time zones so any responses may be at strange times. What. A great site this is! Can I ask what raw coconut oil is and how I could get some? I will post weekly pics so can all see the results! I am feeling really hopeful about this!

Yes there are people here from all different time zones, but a lot from the Uk like me but there's usually someone here, when one time zone goes to sleep another is getting up for the day .....it is a nice friendly place to come though I don't know if you have online shopping in Oz with but you can get good quality coconut oil from sites like Amazon I use Biona organic virgin coconut oil .....if you search on google you will find an organic one available where you are I'm sure Keep the pictures coming Jim Edit...... sorry Bill didn't see your post

Belinda,
I hope that the medication works for you and soon! I have similar coverage on my torso and have used Amlactin cream to manage the symptoms somewhat. I use the lotion daily and it helps to minimize the scaling buildup. Chris

Thanks Chris I'll look into it. That's what my legs, arms, torso, scalp and back are like-so debilitating! Not quite sure how I'm managing to work ft and raise a 3yo on my own considering I'm in pain constantly and it hurts to move-but I am and really really hoping Cosentyx does he trick!

I definitely understand. I also have coverage on most of my scalp, arms, torso.
My wife and I adopted a kitten and now I am starting to notice that the scratches that he is leaving _ALL_ over my hands and arms are turning into psoriasis spots. He's very sweet though and I can't seem to stop playing with him.
