On MTX at the moment but used to be on Ciclosporine (sp?).
I think you may have found my (very, very long) thread already.
I use coconut oil and clingfilm so much that people think I have some kind of fetish.  Big Grin
Just ask me anything.
BTW, I also have nail psoriasis, guttate psoriasis and what I believe is inverse psoriasis (the one in the creases). I never do anything by halves.  Wink
Hi,
I also have nail psoriasis and I'm sure I'm getting arthritis pain or something in my feet, I get a sharp pain similar to electric shock all down the side of my foot and have to put pressure on it until it goes away, do you get this? Also my feet and up my legs go dead alot and get pins and needles, do you get this? What is guttate psoriasis?  I tried the cling film thing a couple of times but I couldn't get on with it.  Do you get bad side effects on Methotrexate?  I think it's awful stuff, I can't think straight and feel really foggy headed on it as well as the nausea and sickness. You did say ask you anything ?

Sam if you are struggling with methotrexate. Tell your dermatologist, there is no need to feel rubbish all the time to control psoriasis.... If you tell your dermatologist you are feeling bad on it he should offer you a less toxic alternative.....

Also people trying for a baby or those that like a drink should not be using Methotrexate.  Wink

And those feeling sick all day long should be taken off it.  Whistle

What you are describing is exactly and in my case worse why I quit mtx.
I have PsA, and that is not how you describe your arthritis. PsA is with me in the little joints of hands and feet, I feel it like sometimes they stick a needle in my toe joint, it hurts when you put pressure on it. And it can give a painly feeling under the ball of your foot.
Because of my medication I don't feel it anymore.
