You forget Acetretin at the systemics

And Cosentyx and Humira from the biologicals. But there are more biologicals that may work.

Oh, and of course you shouldn't listen to the Stelara-gang and the MTX-gang... they are soooo biased ... 85

There is of course a reason that I am in favor of DMF, and that is the fact that it is non toxic and transfers into a body owned substance once it is taken up in the intestines.
Next to that it appears to have a number of advantages on more aspects than only Psoriasis, it also works for MS, Lupus, Crohns, Decubitus, and probably more auto-immune based diseases.
I have been using it for 8+ years without any problems, but the normal side effects.

What rubbish, Fred! I'm thinking of a Mexican variant for DMF: Lick the DMF off your hand. Follow with a squeeze of lime then wash it all down with three shots of tequila. And you have to take it twice a week because it's your medicine.

Olé

ps. Shooting up is very down market.

Side effects are not normal as such they are your body reacting to the foreign chemicals you are putting in there , everyone is different in the levels of reaction and different in the way the drugs work as for some they may be great but for others a nightmare. It's finding something that works for you without many disadvantages and then taking care that you monitor it to make sure that it's ok.
I can only say what worked for me and I would not dream of saying that is what anyone else SHOULD do only what I have done and the results that I have had so they can make their minds up themselves.

Lotions and potions, creams prescribed by your GP. I am not aware of anyone who has had success with any of these from a clearance perspective only to alleviate some of the symptoms such as redness and itching. (My experience)

In second place I think it would be PUVA (I have never had it and it may be becoming less popular when I think of the overhead against prescribing an oral treatment).

Then we have a first set of low cast oral treatments
  • Acitretin
  • Ciclosporine
  • Fumaderm (Dimethylfumarate)
  • Methotrexate

Biologics:
  • Humira (adalimumab)
  • Enbrel (etanercept)
  • Remicade (infliximab)
  • Stelara (ustekinumab)
  • Simponi (golimumab)
  • Cimzia (certolizumab pegol)
  • Cosentyx (secukinumab)

OK two things I don't know how to do hyperlinks! Fred feel free to add if you can!

Fred I hate taking drugs of any description as well BUT, it is a lot easier at the moment than creams every day. I realise this is a journey so I may not get stelara anytime soon but at least I can open negotiations with my derm.

I've added the links. You can see how to do them here: Internal linking But if your still not sure just give me a shout.
