I don't even like bananas so I would have to get my boyfriend to eat it haha. Maybe I'll skip the banana peel then ?

85 you can try it and stop if he gets fed up from all those bananas.  Big Grin

Or make Banana Liqueur. Wink

I am sorry Lilbromy,
Our common situation is sometimes so serious that we often try to find some relief in humour. Big Grin, which is never meant as being offensive.
But your remark on your boyfriend signalled us that humour is not strange to you. Smile

Haha this is true. No harm in trialing it I guess, and even if it doesn't work at least I have my banana liqueur to make me feel better ?

Welcome Lilbromy!

I haven't tried the bananna peel thing and have no clue as to why some areas seem more common than others. Perhaps we all have weaker areas that are just more susceptible. I use coconut oil as a moisturizer which has helped me a bit. It doesn't clear up the few problem areas I have, but it does help keep them from being dry and terribly itchy and gives me about the same relief I got from steroid creams without the worries.

Good luck and I'm glad you found your way here! Smile

Thanks Kat. Coconut oil is lovely, I use it in the hair! I shall have to get some for my body. I've generally just been using a sorbelene to moisturise. Yeah I dont think we will ever know. With so much research out there already, if they had an answer to why I guess I'd have found it considering I've found out everything else about the disease. But in saying that, they still don't know the root cause or fully understand what's going on so I'm not surprised. It's a pesky disease.. I eagerly await the day we all finally know why this is happening to our bodies.
