he was worried about the loss of fluids and minerals ect and has taken me off it,
I have a appointment for 2 months to take about Biological drugs!!....oh well I had 2 relatively clear years.........back on the psoriasis roundabout!!!!!!

Hello Fingers good to see you again, even though it's not good news.

It's a shame, but it's right to stop if it's effecting you in that way.

Time to gen up on the Bio's Mate: Biological Treatments For Psoriasis

Good luck.

What topical are you using ?

Enstilar is a good one with the same ingredients as dovobet but it’s a foam spray and seems to work better
Don’t be given dovobet if you ask and are prescribed enstilar see Enstilar there is no generic version

Good luck let’s hope you don’t need to move on to biologicals but if you do they are safe  Thumb

Yes you have been spoilt ....but I go to my local doctor for my blood tests ( I'm a bit over the top ) I have one every month both the hospital and my doctor get copies ...
I could go to 3 monthly but I'm comfortable with keeping a close eye on things ...and my blood tests I get first appointment and it's five minutes in the car to my doctors ... see if your doctor will do yours if you ever do have to go onto biologicals Thumb

You can't stay on Enstilar for ever. It's a 4 week thing and unfortunately people do tend to think topical's are a long term fix, but they are not.

If the blood tests are the only thing bothering you about the Bio's. Once you get going the tests can go three months or even six. I'm down to two visits per year as long as I report any problems by phone.

Get on with life and get a Bio I say.  78

Good point. I suppose I'm even more lucky, I don't work and the nurse comes to my house to do the bloods.
