I read some time ago that there is a short term cure for psoriasis that your doctor could prescribe if you were going on holiday soon for example. I can't remember now what it is called. can anyone help?

Hi Paul  Welcome  to the site, unfortunately there is no cure and as far as I know there is no short term relief that's guaranteed to help before a holiday , there are things a dermatologist can try like UV treatment, or methotrexate, but we are all different and react to different things. And nothing is guaranteed to clear your skin

If someone tells you they have a cure ... Don't part with your money because it won't work ....having said that look through the site there is a lot of information about all prescribed treatments and a lot about natural treatments .
Do look around the site, you will also be made very welcome in the off topic section where everyone is friendly
Jim

Sorry but there is No cure for psoriasis let alone a quick one. I'm not sure where you read it, but like Jim said don't part with any money.

You can get treatment from your GP and they will start you on creams, but nothing is going to work quick enough for a holiday.
