Thank you for the update all sounding good and heading in the right direction.

Sorry if you mentioned it, but do you have psoriatic arthritis too or is this just a trail for psoriasis?

That's great news, it's good to hear when a treatment works,
I look forward to the next instalment. It is good to give the vacuum cleaner a rest Thumb

I have seen these studies:

Ixekizumab meets it's goals in Phase 3 for psoriatic arthritis.

Ixekizumab shows improvement of psoriatic arthritis after 24 weeks use

But I was wondering if they are using people with psoriatic arthritis for the trial you are on or just psoriasis.

Fred this is what is on the info given to me.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE STUDY?
Our study is taking place internationally and there will be about 300 other patients all around the world who will be taking part including approximately 15 patients in the UK. It will take about two years to complete the whole study but your participation in the study is expected to last up to one year and three months.

The main reason for you to take part in this study is not to treat you for your condition, we hope that the results of this study will help to answer the following research question:

• Can ixekizumab help patients with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis.

So I guess the answer would be no.

( Sorry Fred I do not suffer from arthritis yet.)

Aha thank you.

Just one more question if you don't mind. Do you have psoriatic arthritis?

It's one week since my second session - I AM AMAZED I RECON I'M ABOUT 80 - 90% clear . From start skin dry lot's of build up of scales skin splitting and mess to two sessions a period of 3 weeks and I have lovely pink smooth skin and no mess, only a couple of areas that have always been difficult to shift but even those are slowly clearing. So far I have experienced nothing more than Itchy eye's for me side effects are non-existent.

I have been regularly taking photos of the same area and will post them eventually.

Great stuff Tom it's certainly doing a great job for you, it's hard to believe the change you describe in three weeks let's hope it continues to give full clearance Thumb
Would love to see pictures ( if you want help on how to post just shout )

The itchy eye's were on the first day after my first instalment - for one day only, I don't even know if that was a side effect or not.
