On the theme of dodgy pharmas, Biogen Idec got a "Please explain?" for it's submission to the TGA for Tecfidera approval. Apparently the "49% relapse free after two years" relates to their statistical methods, as by a layman's understanding of the term only 29% meet the condition. Hopefully the approval will get withdrawn, then I can happily start my importation business again. Oh, and the cysteine does nix for the p and psa (missed a dmf dose for a much needed break and to check), although it does clear my nose. Hopefully it will make the dmf less unpleasant and more effective. I will find out soon and let you know.

Cheers,

Bill

Thanks for the information these big pharmas will manipulate the figures to suit themselves Doh

Is there a ban on importing dmf to Australia then?

It is tricky,Jim. DMF is a restricted drug down under, so there are substantial penalties for unauthorised possession. There are ways around it, but the short of it is that it's much less hassle to set up a drug lab and diy. My pasi is now less than 0.2, and I remain convinced that DMF is effective against psa of all persuasions. The success of my treatment has made me very contemptuous of the conventional treatment infrastructure for severe psoriasis. I should be the crackpot, dead or severely maimed from some harebrained diy treatment, then chronicled by the press for morbid public amusement. Instead I feel that I have escaped a very considerable amount of abuse at the hands of the medical profession.

Cheers,

Bill
