Swollen joints or oedema? With oedema you would think of circulation and neuropathy. I haven't had a swollen finger or toe for ages, but my spine still has a few kinks and limited flexibility. Maybe if BI weren't making so many billions from Tecfidera you could actually get DMF in the States to treat p and psa.

Cheers,

Bill

I have both; susage toes and oedema. As for DMF, it will be available soon for psoriasis. However, there is not any data for dmf and the back. I can live with the Psoriasis, but I cannot live my butt on fire. Honestly, if Cosentyx fails, I would rather try a few Rheumotolgoy drugs. There are a few that has had top tier psoriasis result, but not been approved for it.

Works for this guinea pig, so the data issue is moot. It might also be worthwhile determining how the stuff works and how best to dose people with it. That way you might be able to control the p and psa without causing a lymphopenia. Need quite a few guinea pigs to draw conclusions unfortunately.

Cheers,

Bill

My psoriasis is my only ticket to drugs that will help my arthritis. I am not interested in trying anynore treatments that cover up psoriasis and do little to nothing for arthritis. Beside that, I have well documented gastro problems and I am not interested in huddling by a toilete for multiple hours per day. I would rather have my psoriasis.

There are plenty of other drugs out to try. If all else fails I will give it a shot once it is approved.

If you are looking for new posts in this thread I have moved them to a Split as I feel it's going way off topic, you're welcome to continue the conversation in both threads but I think it's better to keep to the question from the first post and not confuse our readers:

The original post at the beginning of this thread was:

(Sun-12-07-2015, 20:47 PM)mataribot Wrote: My Dermotologists said he has patients without arthritis that has tendon issues. He was suggesting that it was a separate disease. Just curious how many people with psoriasis (not arthritis) have tendon problems? Also, what works for it? So far nothing has helped much besides the TNFs, and even those are not that great.

You can find the split here: [split] Psoriasis, arthritis, and tendon issues and although an answer to the original question, I feel it's going to end up being a DMF thread.

Any problems please let me know, I'm just trying to keep it tidy.

Fred.
