My Dermotologists said he has patients without arthritis that has tendon issues. He was suggesting that it was a separate disease. Just curious how many people with psoriasis (not arthritis) have tendon problems? Also, what works for it? So far nothing has helped much besides the TNFs, and even those are not that great.

I have had this since the day I stopped Humira. Cimzia seemed to help a bit but eliminate this. Stelara didn't make it worse, but it didn't help either. Not sure if it's getting worse, but it's not getting better.

Well I suppose the positive we can take from that is it's not a problem related to the Bio's ?

Not much help to you and your original question, but something you can eliminate from what could be going on.

Tenosynovitis is a sing and symptom of true rheumatic diseases; PsA being one of them. Until recently, Tenosynovitis use to be thought as a symptom of PsA and AS, but new studies suggest that people with RA have it worse. It has also be suggested that people with RA and active Tenosynovitis have uncontrolled disease regardless of other symptoms.

I have been told I have PsA, my symptoms being achilles tendinitis, plantar fasciitis and carpal tunnel. I have not yet experienced the swollen fingers etc that others have with it.

Your not missing anything... Big Grin. This is exactly the post I was looking for! Swelling is the new norm for me, but not so much in the small joints!
