Noticed in several posts while rummaging through the topics that blood tests are mentioned. Now, what kind of blood tests are we talking about?
I have never had a blood test taken from me since P was diagnosed on me - 20 odd years ago.
I have an appointment with a dermatologists coming up in the next few weeks and want to get my facts together before I get to see him/her.
No questions are stupid Henry.
You won't get a blood test until you go on or before you go on to a treatment, there is no blood test that will show psoriasis.
The blood tests you have read about on Psoriasis Club are tailored to the person and the treatment they are receiving, we don't all have the same blood test it depends on what treatment you are having.
So that is why you have not had a blood test, there is no point in testing your blood until you are going on to a specific treatment. Then it is not always necessary (for example creams) But if you are taking any of the prescribed Pills or Bio's, then you must be tested regularly.

Amanda I very much doubt you will find anything more than you will find here, Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis plus our information is unbiased as we are not sponsored by any Pharma Company. If it's not here ask, and someone will get an answer for you that is not swayed by corporate influence.
@Henry Blood tests are only important if you are on a prescribed treatment.
@Amanda Sorry if I sound a bit aggressive, but we have as much if not more information than any money driven psoriasis sites.
