Well, I kind of did that. I would place an old dark shirt on my lap and comb through my hair to see how many scales would fall, then I'd hold the edges of the shirt so that the scales would form a pile in the middle. (I can't believe I'm actually admitting this Tongue ) I would do this a few times per day and although I didn't measure it or anything, it gave me an idea of how much I was shedding throughout the day. It was always worst first thing in the morning.

It was with my hair as well. When I used derma smooth or whatever I'd have to comb in the morning....

Scalp psoriasis was fun, I used to try and tease the flakes out without loosing to much hair. I used to smoke then and I had this big old Tolly Cobbold Bar ashtray that I would place on the arm chair and spend a few hours filling it up with flakes and hair, if you try this don't forget yourself and stub your cigarette out in the wrong ashtray as is goes Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiizzzzzzzzzzzzzzle and stinks like hell.  Big Grin

Getting prepared for a haircut for me was a nightmare,I wanted to be clear enough so the barber didn't run away and my scalp looked half decent
About 3 days before I would start applying dermovate diluted with Vaseline and wear my hair slicked down for a few hours then began the gentle prising of the scales, desperately trying not to remove huge chunks of hair, when my hair looked like porridge ( I liked that term Kat) I would wash it out having to use fairy liquid as shampoo didn't touch the grease I would do this 3 or 4 days running until I felt " clean" then would rush to the barber, before the scale started building again
And so it went on every 5 weeks the ritual, thank goodness I no longer have that problem the small patch on my scalp I'm happy for my barber to see
