This approach resembles the approach of a guy named Charlie. I have mentioned this already once on the forum. He beats psoriasis with a very strict and strong diet.
The diet is that strong, and close to what is stated here, that it is very hard to follow for normal (well normal....) human beings like Fred and Jim.

Detoxing is to my opinion a buzz word. If you just drink a bit more than normal, you will automatically be detoxed. Your body does the job automatically.

Still if you stop following the diet, the psoriasis will come back after a while.

I think the only way it can be cured, is if somebody finds out how to reset your immune system. It is like someone with leukemia, only by completely destroying the bone marrow and replacing it for good new stuff, you can be cured.

It has already been proven that any reduction in stress (both mentally and physically) typical correlates with a reduction in psoriasis. So yes, a diet may bring temporary relief to psoriatic symptoms. However, the current research has shown that the majority of people get there symptoms back after 6 months of diet and exercise. There are few posts of studies that suggest that argument.

Diet and excise is NOT going to get rid of disease that is primarily genetic in nature. I will go even go further and state that diet and exercise does not constitute as treatment unless every session is being monitored by a professional (therapy). The whole concept of diet and exercise before treatment with this disease is attempt to save some money before expensive treatment is administered. The longer they can keep you on diet and exercise the more money they save.

How long have you been off this... diet?  Curious as you use the word "cure"

I'm pretty much with your other replies, I don't think it's for me.  I drink a lot of water and I don't eat much pork and I like lemonaide, but I don't like lemons quite THAT much.  

I think that most people agree that a healthier diet can help with a lot of illnesses and diseases.  But, to me a healthy diet consists of all the food groups, I'm not a fan of cutting out one or the other.  Some people say no milk, then it's no cow's milk, then it's oh but soy milk isn't good either and I could go on and on with just about any food  (there's even advocates for dark chocolate and it's benefits)   When experts can disagree so much on what is good for a person, I actually have given up listening to them and simply try to cut out sugars and fats and get plenty of water, fruits and vegetables and hope for the best.

hello every one I am new here and I'm not looking for help I am here to help you if you want, this is a terrible condition and in my case was easy to hide (legs) but can't imagine how hard is for some people that can't hide it, I am writing and makes me happy just to think how good it feels and makes me feel good that finally I can help other people around the world, so lets gets started.

First of all if you decide to do this it's because you need it and you believe you can cure your self, if you don't believe in this is because you don't have psoriasis and don't need help.

I am not looking for money, yes guys no money I have a good leaving and not asking for money.

ok I will give you the cure but read my true story and ask me whatever you want I am not hiding anything.

At the age of 28 years old move to Canada because of violence in El Salvador and decide to start again it was not easy and got stress etc. etc. anyways 1 year later was this patch appears in my legs and hand but not to aggressive but got worst really bad and bigger, itchy with blood and everything could not believe it I am healthy guy wearily had cold or flu I am talking about good health, so this was driving me insane try our free and good health care in Canada and many doctors said WE have NO cure, that killed me right there, but like a good stubborn Spanish guy could not give up, so one day visiting my country my uncle and good friend told me go to see our natural medicine doctor and I said yes, I know this doctor we are natural medicine people in my family  " not all of us " , make you story short this guy is amazing switch from what we know as doctor study so many years like all of them at the university, and after years practicing his profession he decide to look for something else because could not help a lot of patients, so he went MAYAN medicine and now here is the cure.

For the next three months you need natural pills for DETOX that he sells they are made of plants don't know what kind but the name is in Spanish and you can search.

for the next 3 months avoid or don't eat any dead animals , NO meat is better.

breakfast must be mostly fruits

lunch 50% salads

avoid heavy dinners

8 glasses of WATER as MINIMUN, no matter if you live in a f... igloo drink WATER.
it will start clearing after a month remember your whole life been putting stuff in your body that he doesn't like any more, be patient

Hey good to you know what works for you. Unfortunately it will not work for me. Psoriasis a auto immune disease. No cure just remission. If that worked for u that's great. But in my case foods and detox I have tried it all and never changes my P. Every scientific study proves eating right is good & healthy but will not help or cure P.

I tried so many diets Paleo, Norwegian, Mediterranean, whole foods no pre made junk foods, you name it I have tried it over the years. Then let's not forget the acid vs alkaline diets. Science proven methods and natural types of moisturizers, topical steroids, occlusion light therapy and bio drugs are scientifically proven in clinical studies to put P. in remission. There are 6 types of skin P. I also have psoriatic arthritis from P. PSORIASIS is a autoimmune disease and so far science has found no cures for any immune diseases. There are many.

I hope u stay in remission. This disease is not just only on the outside of the body but also effects the inside too! Causes heart disease and a precursor to many other diseases. Please get UR facts checked. We have all had this disease far to long....I know you mean well, get facts checked before making any claims. Google psoriasis before you reply again and see the facts for URSELF. We have all seen claims of cures many times before on forums. No one has a cure for arthritis another immune disease the bodies antibodies attacking itself it's own body. The same in psoriasis. That why meds are designed to block the pathways from the antibodies that cause PSORIASIS outbreaks. Check my facts too!

There could be other skin issues u had caused by many personal care products that are packed with harmful chemicals like Methylchloroisothiazolinone/Methylisothiazolinone are in everything. Check out UR hand creams, toothpaste even beauty products. These are chemicals even Laural sulfates in everything that cause excyma and other skin rashes. P. is the immune system fighting a battle in the patients own body causing plaque P. A autoimmune disease. PLZ google auto immune diseases get the facts on Psoriasis. Stress makes any illness worse by far. I am glad you were able to escape the war in your country.

What could be UR issue maybe misdiagnosed, just a guess since you have had progress with your cures you use in your above post. None of that stops psoriasis, or many who have had p. Some who were diagnosed by a doc by visual inspection only is not always a definate diagnosis.In this case lets say the doc never took a biopsy to check for sure if it was p., it happens more than u think. P. can replicate many other skin rashes that look like psoriasis. Like allergy caused rashes, etc.,that can me cured. Just sayin!

Or maybe I decided to take a little time to educate. Either way we are all a friendly bunch and are always happy to help others, open eyes, & take it in stride. Most of us have lived with psoriasis for more than 50 years. Experience is the best teacher.

So if someone gave you a cactus that doesn't mean you have to sit on it! Stay strong and positive...also a good healing tool.

Hello all my P. Cyber friends,

With all that we go thru living with psoriasis...You can either feel sorry for yourself or fall into the pitfalls of snake oil cures...or treat what has happened with this illness is a gift, and have trust and faith.
I see a lot of that on this forum. Good people just coping the best way possible.

Everything is a opportunity to grow or a obstacle to keep from growing.

The choice is ours...I choose to learn and grow. That's what is so important about sharing our experiences on this forum.....the many voices of experience!

Well Kat I have just tried the cure of eating ice cream,deserts,candy soda's etc and I can say that combined with several large G&Ts plus steak with Merlot and I can say that it has not made any difference to my P however I do feel a dam sight better . I have looked everywhere to try to buy a placebo Fred but nobody has them in though Morrisions said that they would see if they could get some in for next weekend.
