Hello Grizzly bear and thanks for the message . It would appear that you and no doubt most of the other people on the forum are a lot less of a "wimp" than I am . I had a real problem with the needle the pain wasn't too bad but the holding down for ten seconds was a concern for me .All ready stressed about the next injection on Friday . First rule of getting to grips with P don't get stressed ( yea right!) . Cheers

I would also feel very inconvenient Soundsright. The idea alone already send shivers down my spine.

Thank you all for your welcome and comments . The more I learn the more I understand what a miserable S**t disease it is . Even if you find something that clears P it seems to only last a short period of time . will give Humira every chance but have a awful feeling it will not be the "miracle " cure one hopes for . If it does work work even for a short time , I will walk into my local pub topless . Thanks everyone .

Yes give humira a good try it should give long term relief, stay positive and believe in it ....... a positive attitude goes a long way towards controlling it. Ha ha I had to double check your profile ... Dam it says male ... I was just about to head off in search of this pub ![]()

Morning Sounds mate.
Humira is good i found & boy does it clear your P. It may not be the 'miracle' cure we P sufferers need but it makes your moral better as your P clears. Oh yes, injecting, trust me, i use to hate the thought of injecting myself but it didn't take long to get use to it Sounds mate. You'll be fine buddy. Any problems, tell us about it on here & we will try our best to put your mind at ease. ![]() ![]() Or get your dr's surgery nurse to do it for you if you are really concerned about doing it yourself. ![]() Nursey will get you to bend over & think of England mate as you bite the pillow !!! ![]() andy |
