Making methotrexate sounding like a better option Jim thanks.

So, I haven't been around the site in a little while, just saw this thread! I knew the Stelera was failing, I was hoping that maybe it would start working again. I'm sorry that going back on methotrexate has been so up and down for you, and I can understand why you'd be frustrated. As everyone else has said, keep going with it for a bit longer before giving up on it, and be positive.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I've decided not to post everyday on this thread and keep a note elsewhere, I will update but like you say "need to keep positive" so maybe once a week then I don't have to keep thinking about it so much.

I'm going to do updates after the shot on Monday's and give a summary of the week.
Nurse came this morning and gave me the third shot. Summary: It's a complete waste of time, I wish I hadn't started this crap. Summary over.

I do the Stelara, but my Dermatologist wants the Nurse to do it. I think it's because she knows I'm negative against it and she wants to be sure it's being done correctly, whereas I may just say sod it. Also for some reason although I'm on 5 mg the syringe comes in 10mg and the nurse has to remove half before giving it, so maybe my dermatologist wants to be sure I'm getting the amount she wants me to have. But to be honest Dave I don't think it would matter when it's done, as I won't be staying on it long anyway. |
