Should be clear to go. Thinking about waiting until Friday for my first injection, just incase something goes wrong I have the weekend off.

Look forward to you updates, yes probably a good idea to wait till you know you have a few easier days after the shot. It will probably be fine, but should you get something like a headache you will feel more comfortable. Good luck.

Well, I have had enough of watching my psoriasis come back. I'm tired of the pain. To make a long story short, I injected. I will give a mini review of the syringe It's bigger than Stelara syringe, more typical of what you find in doctors office. There are four standard steps:
1. Clean your hands with soap and water and clean injection site with alcohol, 2. Take the cap off and remove the air bubbles from syringe, 3. Pinch yor skin, in a dart like motion, and insert the needle at an angle and slowly inject medication, 4. Remove syringe and discard in needle box when finished. Hold cotton swab to injection site to limit any bleeding. Now I don't recommend any follow what I wrote, it's just an example. My first complaint is the air bubbles were a pain to get out. I have had a significant amount of experience with plumbing syringe for lack of better words. Now I followed instructions and let the syringe sit for 30 minutes to warm up. Maybe I'll give it an hour. The needle insertion was painless, the injection hurt a bit, but overall far better than Humira pen. I did have a small site reaction, nothing big. Now for a small rant; my tendons are messed up in my hands and I found it painful to inject. I do not recommend anyone to self inject without first getting guidance from a doctor

Thank you for updating Matari.
Are the few bubbles that much of a problem as it's only under the skin and not in a blood vessel, I have never bothered taking out any air with Enbrel, Humira, or Stelara. Let's hope it does the job, look forward to your updates.

Fred, I didn't bother with Stelara either. Not sure how to do it with the pens. The application instructions warn against not getting the air out. I was just following instructions. funny what lawsuit can do...

Well it seems pointless to me, but if you feel you must then do make sure the needle doesn't come into contact with anything as once the cap is off it's vulnerable. But you know that already, and I can't imagine you standing over the toilet trying to get the excess down the pan.
