Before bedtime I peeled off the old one and replaced with the new one. In the morning peeled it off and a new piece after the shower. So basically I covered it day and night. It did not hurt when I peeled it off. You will be surprised the inside is moist, not dry. Before I started using the tape , the skin was thick, silvery and flaky and no hairs could visible. But now the skin is normal I could see hairs. And most of all I sleep better and no more scratching. So far, no tape, no itch.no flare up yet.
Thanks for letting us in on your technique it's an interesting idea and as long as you aren't damaging your skin and it's working it may well be a good idea, I myself don't need anything like that at the moment but I like to know of these different ideas as sometimes in my life I would have tried anything to get rid of the itch
jim I may give the duct tape a try because I scratch all thru the night.I have to buy some tomorrow at our local Dollar Store.I heard about using duct tape on skin tags.
Let us know how it works for you Glenda it's worth a go if it stops your itching
