Welcome Audrey! Sorry for the late welcome, it's been a busy time this past week for me. Scotland is one place I have always wanted to visit. One of my very best friends ever was Scottish and I just loved hearing her talk about her homeland.

As you probably have noticed, everyone here is very willing to share information and treatments. It's a great place to just hang out too!

Funny made me look silly lol, I didn't know there was a Perth in Scotland but I do now, it about the same size as the city I live in. ( I had to google it )
Good luck with your treatment, hope all goes well and you get the results your looking for.
I'm six weeks into a methotrexate course and all is going well so far.

Thanks Pek. I hope the Methotrexate works for you. I tried it but no difference to the psoriasis after 5 months so that's why they changed me on to Fumaderm. I'm lucky that I don't have a huge amount of psoriasis but what I do have is very very stubborn lol. Yep we are all looking for the same thing but no treatment works the same for anybody. I really wish there was one treatment that helped everybody but that doesn't look likely for a very long time if ever. Well best not to dwell and keep positive. Take care Smile

Hi Kat. Nice of you to say hello. It is amazing how many people are on this site.
Yes Scotland is a beautiful country when the sun shines lol. We all seem to take our countryside for granted but people who come on holiday all comment on how lucky we are to have such a beautiful country.
I hope to hear from you again. Good luck with your treatment ☺

Thank you Audrey, good luck to you as well! There are quite a few regulars, semi regulars, etc here and it's just a really nice place to be around people who understand the day to day dealing of psoriasis. I agree with your earlier post that it would be great if there was just one medicine that would cure it for everyone, but since we can't have that at least here is a place where we can share and read experiences of others.

Hi and welcome...Welcome

Hope UR both doing well. This cold weather can dry out skin and cause a flare. I'm in the US . Even the icy cold weather cracks my skin. So I moisturize heavily every nite at bed time and also luv using a oil lavender wax moisturizer hand & foot spa once a week. Really softens skin. Right now I am in remission. Smile

I have plaque, palmoplantar and feet, and inverse. Also have it in my left eye. The outer layer of our eyes are considered skin, & suspetable to psoriasis. Also have psoriatic arthritis. Cool

Everyone has there own success and experience with psoriasis. My technique is occlusion on skin.
I have had Plaque since a small child & rotating meds has helped my psoriasis.

In the past 5 years new medications have been on the market. Some help as the body become immune to the meds.

Lots of good support here. Always someone here to chat with.

Hi folks. Just about to start the "big boy" tablets i.e. 120mg and at this moment i feel quite sick on my present dose. I get occasional hot flush but nothing i cant handle. One good thing I'm losing weight coz I dont have an appetite. But don't really want to carry on feeling yuck. Any suggestions Confused
