about Otezla

I am living in Shanghai, and I am trying to get Otezla for my uncle. But Otezla is still not in the market of China. Can I get some suggestions about getting the medicine?

Hello Zach, like you say it's not available in your country. In fact it's only approved for use in the USA at the moment and approval for Europe expected at the end of the year.

Also I'm not sure about your health system there but Otezla is a prescription only drug, so you will never be able to buy it over the counter. So it looks like it could be a long way off being used in Shanghai.

I would look into other options, but like I said I don't know how your health system works and what is available.

Hi Zachary and a big to the club. I agree with Fred and am not sure how you would need to go about getting Otezla in your country I do know you could not buy it in the UK
I think you may have to look at other options for your uncle.
Meantime there is a large section on here on natural treatments that may offer him some relief whilst looking for the drug
Let us now if you have success it may help others
