I am all over the diet and natural route. there is a fellow on youtube who has videos of how he cleared his skin with just dietary changes in about 12 weeks and he was pretty bad. he has before and after pics and while he is no doctor, it worked for him. he has some interesting things to say about the medical field in general and his experience with dermatologists.

I DEFINITITELY believe sugar, gluten and especially alcohol are huge triggers for me.

A rainy day here in lovely Boston everyone. Be well!

I have seen the videos and yes they are impressive and he has got great clearance, but I wouldn't call it a cure. But I will keep an open mind, never having tried diet as a remedy I am not really able to say it works or not. But I have read countless stories of successes with diet , and almost as many that have failed
I'm sure if you get your body " clean " It can do no harm and if you believe , it may even do the trick
I would always put my faith though in dermatologists, it has been my saviour, and I have survived 50 years of various prescription drugs

Very hot and sunny here in Norwich England 27degrees Celsius wheeeeeew

I believe diet is a major remedy to this condition .
That along with meditation..(positive thinking) although Easier said than done etc..
And of course creams...
A cure for one is not a cure for all..as we know.
Maybe we all fall into only a half dozen genetic types..who knows.

But good to hear of everybodys experiences..
And opinions on natural cures.

What other magic foods are out there ??

Ps....what is a nightshade ?

No cure for sure, but that 27 year old kid is CLEAR and I give him a lot of credit! He also did a 5 day water fast and loved it, but personally I don't think I could ever do that. I am sure I'd pass out from lack of food - even if I am only eating fruit veggies fish and chicken.

I'm also sorry like Sue for going Off Topic, but One 27 year old on youtube doesn't make a cure in my opinion. NoNo

There are over 7 Billion people in the world and according to statistics 1 in 50 have psoriasis, I'm no mathematician but 1 cured out of whatever the figure is doesn't go anywhere near a cure in my opinion.

I always feel like apologising to people here when they post about a natural cure for psoriasis, but the figures just don't add up sorry.

Life is far too short, we all get one go at it and we should enjoy it in the way we think best. But seeing (what could be proof) from one person, drinking green juice, having a hosepipe up my anus just doesn't do it for me. Give me a simple tested regulated medication, nice food, alcohol, and a lifestyle where I couldn't care less about what I'm doing or eating any day over taking life to seriously and worrying about am I doing the right thing for my body.

Smile
