I have been much lower, without any sign of infections.
My sister, who uses MTX now has a throat infection. I totally disagree with her rheumatologist. But that is reoccurring between me and rheumatologists.

I think you are in a stable situation Bill. To me it looks very good. Myself I have never felt any positive effects in trying out food types or other things... except for vid. D. That smoothens my PsA.
But I cannot support that with measurements like you.

Thank you Jim and Caroline. I appreciate your support and kindness. I am very happy with how I am going, but I am also a little miffed not finding anything (yet). Out of interest there was some research published this month showing that DMF inhibited an enzyme in the Krebs cycle in T cells.

Cheers

Another update and little is changed.

For something different I have been exercising more over the past few months. I have lost 5 kg, but sadly there is no effect on the cell count. I have been dosing with 800mg of DMF weekly, so I would have hoped the lymphocytes had increased a little. So either the exercise has suppressed an increase, or perhaps the B group vitamins were doing something after all. To test this, I will resume taking B group vitamins until my next test in a few months. My disease is a little worse, as in a couple more fingerprints of spots, but nothing is looking angry, so I will continue with 800mg until the next blood test.

Cheers

Well at least if it's holding it's own, it's better than getting worse Bill.

Well done on losing the 5kg. I can lose it sometimes but it always end up coming back. Have you found any type of exercise is better than others for getting the weight down ?

Thanks Fred. I have been cycling to and from a train station on work days, about 100km a week. I think that establishing a routine is the key.

Cheers

Well done on loosing the 5kg Bill. Next stop Tour de France? You could drop in at Fred's for a cuppa  Big Grin.
It certainly looks like the DMF is doing the business even though you are struggling to up your lymphocytes.

Congratulations on losing 5kg Bill.

Your WBC Count results look good Bill, July last year over 6 but has come down and is hovering around 5 etc.

As for cycling to the railway station, as your railway to lay track to your house Big Grin

It’s your winter now, time to air your long John’s and get your skis out Big Grin

As daft as this sounds, do you ever get snow in oz ?

Thanks, John. I'm happy to be able to ride a bike. You are right about the lymphopaenia: I am not convinced that it is solely due to DMF.

Thanks Andy, but will it stay off? Winter is very different in Queensland to what you get in the UK. The weather is very good for cycling, but I have to wear gloves in the morning. I could catch a train from a station about 3km away, but by cycling another 6km I almost halve the train fare. How cheap is that?

Cheers
