Twice weekly is much better, Jim. 800mg as a single dose carries a much bigger punch than 240mg.
4 grams, Fred. No problems with that amount. Raw kidney beans have from 100 to 350 times as much pha. Cheers

I am not sure how much to take Fred. The research on using pha to stimulate t lymphocyte proliferation was not in vivo, so I am taking a dose that does not cause side effects. I started at 2 grams and worked my way up to 4 grams. I weigh dried beans, soak them in water for several hours, then eat them with a few salted peanuts. I will have a better idea after my next blood test.
Cheers

A blood test on Friday and almost no change.
I had a bad cold three weeks ago and did not take DMF for two weeks, else I have been taking 800mg twice weekly. The raw kidney beans seem useless, but I will take them in greater amount and frequency before writing them off. The psoriasis is very inactive (thank goodness!). Next blood test in eight weeks. Cheers

Good to hear the psoriasis is inactive Bill.
Long may it continue.

Thanks for your kind encouragement, Jim. The blood testing has been of more value to me than I'd have thought. More than anything it has made me realise that dietary measures and supplementation have thus far provided no meaningful control or benefit. I will keep trying things, though.
Cheers

Thanks, Fred. The DMF works as well as ever for me, but I am concerned with the lymphocyte count. I have a few more things I want to try before my next test.
Cheers

While it hovers at just under 1 I would think it’s safe but if you can find a supplement to improve it that would be great .... but as long as it stays fairly stable and you are managing to fight off infections. Be happy
