Hello,
I found making jokes about my skin helpful to offset the awkwardness I might have been feeling.
Before I married i would just say, it is not contagious, tried to not focus on it.
Also found out who had depth and who was superficial.
Was hard to see the gifts of things when I was feeling self conscious.

I would love to be upfront and honest IF SOMEONE WOULD JUST ASK ME ON A DATE ALREADY!!! I have also tried asking men but no takers. People are so quick to judge a book by their cover. Oh well, their loss. The right one will come along.

I am sure on that last one Kelly, I would not want somebody that would refuse me for my outside, I want someone that wants me for the person I am.

Kelly have you tried online dating through a dating site.
You can make it clear in you profile that you suffer. From time to time with psoriasis
Then it will come as no barrier when you do meet as the awkwardness will have been before the meeting. You can chat on the phone before and do all the preliminary stuff before you meet. You can generally get a feel for someone after a few conversations.......
If I were in your position that's what I think I would do
