Hi every one at forum
I am new member and I have digestive tract inflammation since 2008 associated with diarrhea . most GI specialists fail to diagnosed my disease
they suspect my disease as Crohns some time and other suspect that I have
intestinal Tuberculosis and the last GI Specialist didn't knowing my disease
after all tests of blood, stool, colonscopies and CT-scan. I took all medication
of above metioned diseases without any improvement but get more worse.

My request is there some inflammation in gut caused by PSORIASIS ??
My mother have history of psoriasis in his legs and arms . is my mother disease
effect my gut instead my skin? Are there some cases like mine occurred to
other people?
Thank for repliers

Hello Nori Welcome to Psoriasis Club

It has been said there could be a link, Pagano talks about leaky gut being the cause in his book and some believe that you can cure psoriasis just by diet alone. Myself I'm not convinced on the theory and as you don't actually have any visible sign of psoriasis I wouldn't think your problem is psoriasis related, but that's just my opinion.

Having said that just to confuse things a little there is a link to Crohn disease and psoriasis.

These threads may be of interest:
Is psoriasis triggered by microbiota in the skin?
Does psoriasis have a bacteriological cause?
Psoriasis and Crohn's four fold risk

I hope someone will have a better answer for you, please keep us informed on how it goes as your information could help others.

Regards.

Fred.

Hello Nori,

Welcome to psoriasisclub.

Personally I don't know of inflammation of the gut due to psoriasis. But if you speak with a biologist, which I recently did, then he will see the intestines as part of the skin.
Crohn might be something to investigate in your case, as this clearly inflammates the intestines, but I do not know if it is possible to do a good diagnosis for this.

I highly doubt it's directly caused by your psoriasis. There are several other diseases that are inflammatory in nature besides chrones.

There is research to suggest that your colon may cause psoriasis, but there is no smoking gun so to speak.

Thanks for all members who reply but still I didn't receive satisfied answers.
GI specialists here(Denver hospitals) saw the inflammation in my small intestine but they didn't recognized what is it. May they had no experiences in these finding. Another hint ,each country have own diseases so its specialists also have experiences on those diseases  only. my symptom is diarrhea start when I lived out side US. I still suspected that I have unspecified inflammation
not to be seen or experiences by GI specialists at my state ?
