I've also been asked to join a research study which is looking at long term side effects (no results for at least 5 years) so had my first set of questions for that today, anything to help and prevent the UK governement reconsider funding.

Now to head to work (boo!) Lol.x

Sorry for being so quiet of late, hope you guys are all keeping ok.

Had my third injection about 2 weeks ago and sadly the P is coming back, started 2 weeks before the injection was due and had hoped it would clear up afterwards but sadly not, looks like initial results were too good to be true! Back at derm in November and looks like we need a plan F Confused

Hello Amy sorry to hear that, I was hoping it was going to work for you. Just goes to show, what works for some may not work for others.

As it started coming back 2 weeks before your next shot it may be worth asking if you can try 10 weeks between shots, I'm on 8 weeks between shots and it took me a while to find the happy balance.

But don't get to disheartened there are still other things coming forward. Have you tried Enbrel or Humira ? if not that may be worth asking about too.

Good luck, and thanks for the update.

Fred.

I'm planning on seeing if my derm will change frequency etc, all depends on what's allowed on NHS but I still have other options and it's not as bad as it was at the start of the year so I'm still positive! Smile

Mine comes back approximately two weeks before my shots, but the longer im on it, the smaller the flarw is. I have one active area that is always active. If creams still work, you might consider those while you wait.
