Please note if you are not receiving emails from Psoriasis Club when you should be, please check your spam folder.

This seems to be a bigger problem with hotmail and livemail so please make sure you have https://psoriasisclub.org and www.psoriasisclub.org in your "Safe Sender List"

Any problems let us know.

After being asked about stopping the email notification I thought I would update this thread.

If you're getting fed up with the amount of email notifications from Psoriasis Club you can turn them off or reduce them.

Go here Options and make you choices where it says "Messaging and Notification"

*Remember though if you turn them all off you may miss a notification, so you can also subscribe/unsubscribe to threads.
By default when you post in a thread you automatically subscribe, to unsubscribe scroll to the bottom of the thread and click "Unsubscribe from this thread"
Tip you can see al your subscribed threads from your Control

Another way is to tick the box "Do not subscribe to this thread" when making a post, you will see that next to thread subscription just below the smilies.

Also See: Notification of new threads and posts

I have mine on: "No email notification", except for the Private messages.

As I am anyway regularly logging on, I see in "Unread Posts" exactly the posts that I haven't read yet.

This holds probably only for heavy users of the forum. I can imagine that occasional users only need the replies on there own threads or posts.

Yes most only make a few posts so it's not a problem, but like you say if you use the forum a lot it can get annoying getting so many emails. Especially when Jim gets on his pogo stick. Rolleyes

As I was explaining to a member how to turn them off, I thought I would post here for future reference. Plus with the above choices people can choose what mail they get, where as your way it's all or nothing and that's no problem for you as you often log-in. But I thought some may like to know the way of getting the ones they wanted, Me! I get all emails so I don't feel like Billy No Mates. 70
