I just thought I would respond following my derm appointment...
I was seen earlier this week at Guy's hospital, London, which is a good place I think for derm treatment and they advised me that Otezla is definitely not available on the NHS.
It may be that you are part of a trial or your dermatologist sought special dispensation for prescribing off NICE's approved list (I think this has to be done through the local authority)
Basically, the doctor said that NICE - who decided medications that we can or cannot be generally prescribed - have advised that Otezla is not cost effective, when compared to other oral medications and it currently costs around £800 per month to prescribe! (The cost to the NHS)
I would still like to give it a go but it seems will have to wait a while until it becomes cheaper...NICE are very powerful in these situations
