Aveeno (i'm on that stuff, body wash, bath oil, moisturising lotion) does not clear P, it relieves it.............and, as you say, it can help ease the itch.
Aveeno is good Sally, don't get me wrong but you need to see GP & get him / her to refer you to a dermatologist  
E45 is pants in my book, use Biona Raw Virgin coconut oil, it's the best stuff tor plaque psoriasis. Amazon do a 800g tub of it or fleabay aswell for around £13. It feels rock hard when trying to extract it from the tub but soon melts once it's on your skin.
