Does Psoriasis come back?

I have had psoriasis on my elbows that I've cleared completely with cortisone cream, and it didn't come back. I had about ten years after that, before any more psoriasis elsewhere on my body.

However I now find that areas that have had it before, like my stomach, can clear up but it does come back in the same spot.

Its quite a random disease, to be honest, what happens for one person can be very different to another's experience.
