Yes, I know I should look for something sitting. I have applied for admin type roles but the cleaning one was the only one to get back in touch.

In the meantime I'm looking for another volunteer post similar to the one I had but closer to home (as it was 20 miles travelling there and back). Applied for CAB, our local Carers Centre and a couple of others (all desk based).

I just wish I could do something to help on the job front. I hate seeing my O/H worrying. Daft as it sounds, just an extra 4 hours a week would make all the difference.

I see your point on wanting to put something in the pot and good on ya. CAB would be good, an interesting job and helping others would make you feel good.

Just a thought, and I don't know much about it or how you could find out more. But someone I once knew got a few hours a week as an on-line Bingo moderator working from home and she loved it.
