I would like to wish all our members and guests a very happy and healthy New Year. We are now entering the 6th year of Psoriasis Club and it's because of those of you that have taken the time to log-in and make a few posts in the past year what has encouraged me to purchase an additional 2 years hosting for the website on top of what we already have.
This means that Psoriasis Club now has enough funding in place to secure a permanent home till August 2018.
It also means as I have always promised:
- There will never be any advertising.
- There will never be any sponsorship deals.
- There will never be any recruitment drives.
- There will never be any requests for donations.
This makes Psoriasis Club is the only truly independent psoriasis website out there. Yes I make the final decisions, but I'm always willing to listen to members feedback and I will never let money be the motivation.
We now have over 600 active members (*unused accounts are deleted) almost 60,000 posts in nearly 3,000 threads. (*not all posts are visible to guests or some groups) we act swiftly on Spammers, Scammers, Troll's and Cyberbullies who are shown the door without question.
I would like to thank our members who help maintain the friendly atmosphere that we have built up. There is always someone willing to try and help out if they can and new member are always given a warm welcome. Our members also keep an eye on the place and many will soon let me know if there are any problems that need looking at.
I also want to thank the three Forum Helpers Caroline, Jim, and Kat who are there should any member need some help on using the forum or would just like someone to help them settle in.
Thank you all for making Psoriasis club a safe and friendly place for others with psoriasis.
Happy New Year
Fred.
Just read through this again Fred and was wondering where you thought the club might be in the next 2 years ?
And I'm sure it will always be a happy place for sufferers to come to lift their spirits ... And I'm sure the membership will grow and grow. Despite Google keeping it low in the searches for psoriasis, people are finding their way here by whatever means
I'm looking forward to a bright future
